About: Dr. Catherine Boutwell is a New York State–licensed clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst in private practice in New York City. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medical Psychology in Psychiatry at Columbia University’s Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research and a Supervising Psychologist at The Motherhood Center of New York. She has previously been on faculty at the Women’s Program at Columbia University Medical Center and is currently a voluntary faculty member at Weill Cornell’s Women’s Program.
